Glow PVT limited (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates Glow(the “Service”), a platform that helps businesses collect, manage, and respond to customer reviews using AI. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

This policy applies to two kinds of people: business owners and their staff who sign up for the Service (“Business Users”), and the end customers of those businesses who leave a review through a link, QR code, or WhatsApp message generated by the Service (“Reviewers”). Reviewers are never required to create an account to leave a review.


1. Information we collect

  • Business account information — When a business signs up, we collect business name, business category, owner name, email address, phone number, business address, and billing/GST details if provided.
  • Payment information — Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details — these are handled directly by Razorpay under their own security standards and privacy policy.
  • Reviewer information — When a customer of a Business User leaves a review through our links, QR codes, or WhatsApp messages, we may process their name or initials, phone number (if review requests are sent via WhatsApp or SMS), and the content of their review.
  • Usage and device data — We automatically collect log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Support communications — If you contact our support team, we keep a record of that conversation to resolve your query and improve our support.

2. How we use this information

  • To create and manage Business User accounts and provide the Service.
  • To send review requests on behalf of a Business User to their customers via WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
  • To generate AI-drafted replies to reviews on behalf of a Business User.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To send service-related communications, such as billing reminders, security alerts, and product updates.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service, including Razorpay (payments), the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta (sending review requests and messages), Google (the Google Business Profile API, to fetch reviews and post replies), our cloud hosting providers, and the AI providers we use to generate review reply suggestions.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected Business Users.

4. Data retention

We retain Business Account information for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Review and reply data is retained as long as needed to provide analytics and historical reporting to the Business User, or until deletion is requested.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews, to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your personal data (subject to our legal retention obligations), withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, and lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer or the relevant data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. International data transfers

Some of our service providers, such as cloud hosting and AI providers, may process data outside India. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure data is handled consistently with this Policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Business Users of material changes by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
